Your watch stays on your device

The initial iPhone release is free and contains no advertising. Normal gameplay works offline. Battles, campaign progress, personal bests and settings are saved locally on your iPhone. You do not need a separate publisher account to play.

The campaign has 15 stages across five regions, with nine tower types and three heroes: Nutbutter, Lyra and Seren. Clearing a stage opens the next. Personal records let you return for a faster clear, fewer towers or less gold spent.

Game Center records scores and achievements; it does not restore your saved battles or transfer progress between devices. Browser saves do not transfer into the iPhone app. Keep the app installed to preserve its local saves; any operating-system backups depend on your device settings.

Starting again

A new battle replaces the current saved battle while keeping your wider progression and records. To begin with a fresh local profile, open Device controls → Reset local progress.

Resetting permanently removes local battles, progression, settings and the local Game Center reporting link. It cannot be undone. Scores and achievements already held by Apple remain with your Apple gaming profile.

If you are investigating a missing score or save error, contact support before resetting or deleting the app.

Game Center & stage records

Game Center is optional. A profile already signed in on your iPhone may connect automatically, or you can choose to connect through the game. Your Apple gaming nickname appears with eligible results.

Each campaign stage has separate records for fastest time, fewest towers and least gold spent, divided by difficulty. A record also shows the hero and star rating. Choose friends or all players to compare runs.

  • Campaign stages use fixed starting supplies and disable permanent realm talent bonuses.
  • Time measures combat at normal speed. Fast-forward gives no leaderboard advantage, and planning between waves is untimed.
  • Tower totals count every placement, including towers later sold. Gold totals count spending before refunds.

If a result has not appeared

Check your internet connection and Game Center sign-in in iPhone Settings, then reopen the rankings. Pending eligible results can retry when connected. A personal best remains available on this device even when online rankings cannot load.

If the game says progress belongs to another Game Center player, reconnect the original Apple gaming profile. Existing local progress is not uploaded to a different player. Resetting local progress does not erase Apple's previous scores.

Apple provides more information about Game Center profiles and privacy.

Back to the battlefield

  • A save error appears: keep the app open and allow saving to retry before leaving the battle. Avoid resetting progress or deleting the app while investigating.
  • A battle was interrupted: reopen the app and use its resume controls. Backgrounding pauses play and requests a local save.
  • The controls feel crowded: rotate your iPhone to landscape for more battlefield space. Sound, haptics and landscape lock are available in settings or device controls.
  • An online feature is unavailable: check your connection. Ordinary gameplay remains available offline; Apple rankings need an internet connection and Game Center.

Still stuck? Email hi@adambrown.uk with the details. Local battle recovery and a particular response time are not guaranteed.
